    About Jumeirah Beach Residence

    JBR was Dubai's first real bet on beachfront living at scale. Dubai Properties launched it in 2002 and delivered it in 2010, and on completion it stood as the largest single-phase residential development ever built, close to two million square metres running the full length of the coast.

    The community is arranged as 40 towers across six clusters, wrapped around The Walk, a 1.7km promenade of shops, cafés and restaurants at ground and plaza level. What set JBR apart then still does now: unlike neighbouring Dubai Marina, which has the water but no beach, JBR residents own the sand. That single distinction drives its rental demand, its tourist pull, and its standing as one of the most consistently occupied addresses in the city.
